David Mounce was convicted of felonious unauthorized use of a 1978 Monte Carlo automobile in violation of Code § 18.2-102. He now contends that: (1) the evidence was insufficient as a matter of law to prove that the value of the automobile was over $200; and (2) the evidence was insufficient to sustain the conviction of unauthorized use. The Commonwealth argues that Mounce is barred on appeal from raising these issues because he did not raise the issue of the value of the car at the trial level, nor did he move to strike the Commonwealths evidence after presentation of all the evidence. Rule 5A:18. We agree and affirm the conviction.
